Pencoed Classic Car Show

| Meeting at Forge Lane and ASDA proved to be funny, with phone calls all round to find out where everyone was. Once we were all together we set off with a total of nine cars which was a very good turnout. The day went quite smoothly and a lot of talking was done about the cars. The meeting was a fair size and a few other clubs were in attendance. It was not long before the awards were given out. When we booked we were told no club stands, but one of the awards was for the best club stand. Needless to say it went to the Morgan stand which was very impressive. After some discussion it was suggested that we have a string of flags and a flag pole of our own. One is now under construction. When we said our goodbyes and set off home the trip seemed to go so fast, but for some it was a little longer because Phil Watkins broke down with a snapped fan belt. Poor Phil could not even get Linda's tights off as she was not wearing any. I am sure the other members would have helped her if they could have. The RAC were called an they were soon on their way. |
