RAGLAN CASTLE & TINTERN
25th March 2007

It was an overcast sky when 11 MGs set off along the A449 for Raglan Castle for the coffee stop. It was Sean's first trip out with us but unfortunately he only got a little way before the car slowed up due to transmission problems. The boys made sure he was "sorted" before we left him and carried on to join the others (see latest entries in the Guest Book). The brave ones with the hoods off were glad to get a nice
warm cuppa. At this point Chris and Bob left us to go and do their “chores”.
After the coffee stop we all followed Dave & Chris in their smart green MG Roadster. They took us on the scenic route through the Wye Valley - very nice too! We stopped on the side of the river at the friendly Sloop Inn.
Next month we will be reporting on the Chairman's 65th Birthday Bash and the Wedding escort.
