An even earlier start, meeting Darren and his mate Steven with his Ford Escort 1.3 at 0715hrs Asda Coryton again travelling to Swansea to help Ashley out. We arrived just before 0800, parked up and set about erecting gazebos and marquees for Oxford Diecast. It was a tremendous turnout but not quite making the 500 expected exhibitors. Stalls included some autojumble, model cars and bric a brac with a motoring museum alongside. Darren, Steven, Brian Pop, Tony F and I parked together and not too many cars away Richard and Phil joined our line. After breakfast a few of us went on a open top bus ride having a few laughs on the way with Sylvie nearly being decapitated by a low flying branch. Time soon came to pack away, collect our model cars and head for home. A pretty good day out, at least on our end of the line. |
